Trading

How a trade is quoted, reviewed, signed and confirmed.

Trades on Invisio are swaps routed through Jupiter, which searches liquidity venues on Solana and returns the best route it finds. Invisio does not operate an order book and never takes the other side of a trade.

The five states

  1. 01QuoteA live price for your amount, with the route, price impact and the minimum you would receive. Quotes refresh every twenty seconds.
  2. 02ReviewYou approve the quote in Invisio. Nothing has been sent to your wallet yet.
  3. 03SignYour wallet opens with the prepared transaction. Declining ends the attempt here.
  4. 04PendingThe signed transaction has been submitted and Invisio is waiting for the cluster.
  5. 05Confirmed or failedReported only once Solana reports it. A failure shows the reason and the signature.

Solana has no separate token approval step. There is no allowance to grant and none to revoke later — one signature authorises exactly one transaction.

Slippage and price impact

  • Slippage tolerance sets the worst price you will accept. If the market moves past it, the transaction fails rather than filling badly.
  • Price impact is how much your own trade moves the price, given the liquidity in the route. Large impact on a small trade means thin liquidity.
  • The minimum received on the review screen is the guaranteed floor at your tolerance.

Fees

  • A Solana network fee, typically a small fraction of a cent.
  • A priority fee, added so the transaction is picked up promptly.
  • Liquidity venue fees, which are already reflected in the quoted output.

When a trade fails

The common causes are price movement beyond your slippage tolerance, an expired blockhash when signing takes too long, and insufficient SOL for fees. Invisio reports the specific reason and links to the signature on an explorer.
